Atm its stable at 4.6Ghz with 1.275 Voltage and Max Temp at stress testing 79 degrees.

Is that good?

What temp and voltage maximum should I aim at? Read somewhere that the Haswell chips shouldnt be clocked with more then 1.3 voltage and they should be below 80 degrees.

i would expect a bit better from noctua d14 at such voltage. i suppose you have it quite some time now. make sure it is dust free and the tower airflow is plenty.are you running one or two fans on it?it will make a difference. thats a great achievement though 1.6ghz at 1.275 is excellent. great chip!

Good day,
I have the same cpu and am an abid overclocker.
I recommend trying 1.2 volts at 4.4.
The resoning is ive tested over 4.4 and the performance difference is smaller then then increase in heat and voltage wear.

What i mean is over 4.4 ghz there is little difference in performance acros the board but 1.2volts will be about 70 degress.
So therefor your cpu will last longer and be garented stable.
