Hello,

I bought a Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250Gb last week and i tried to install it but it doesn't work out really well.
I puted the SSD in my laptop a TOSHIBA satellite L750D-1DK. My bios recognized the SSD but when i wanted to start my computer the only thing it says is 'No bootable device'. After a while starting my computer and shutting it down, the start-up screen of TOSHIBA doesn't show up anymore so i can't enter my bios anymore. Can anybody help me?

Sorry for my bad english.

Thank you.

Solution
It's not the CD that came with the SSD. It should be a CD that came with the laptop. It should say something like "restore disk" on it. You may have to get with the manufacturer of the laptop and get one of these disks from them.
No, you don't need another laptop. You need to put an operating system onto the SSD(there is nothing on the SSD - it's totally blank) You should have restore disk that came with the laptop that should boot up, and load the OS on the SSD for you. If you did not get a restore disk, then you may need to get one from your laptop's manufacturer. They may charge for it (about 20 bucks).
