Since I reinstalled windows 7 ultimate x64, my computer can not see the ethernet cable. Now I use wifi stick, but it's so slow.

I have tried:
-downloading realtek ethernet drivers
-putting into another slot in the router
-I tried to do something in the BIOS, and there was something called SMART lan, and it recognized the cable.

I noticed that there is no light where I plug the LAN cable in the back of the computer.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Solution
Code 31 - Windows cant load the drivers.

Make sure you've got the right drivers for your windows. Get it from your motherboard website or the realtek website for that chip.
