Running sapphire r9 270x oc edition on i3 3240?

I bought a hp pro 3500 with
i3 3240 3.4 ghz
6 gb ram
it has a psu of 300 w. I am going to change it to 500 or 600 w psu .
So I wanted to know can I run this gpu on this system without problem of bottlenecking ?

Should be fine compatibility wise.

Some newer games that use a lot of CPU cores will be bottlenecked by the CPU though. But most should still be playable.
