I've had my desktop for about 2 years now and recently upgraded my graphics card from a gtx 660 to a r9 280x. After having it for about a month now my computer froze while playing watch dogs for about an hour. I waited for about 5 mins before turning it off from the power button as appposed to the wall. When I tried to turn it back on although everything appeared to turn on and work (all the fans and lights were working and hard drives clicking away) the monitors didn't detect any output. I then turned it off and on, now using the integrated graphics. Still nothing. I tired again, this time removing the power to the graphics card, this time both the screens came on. Since then I've changed the slot the graphics card is in and still no joy. Suggestions guys?

It's not all doom and gloom yet, but Joshua is probably not too far off. Before you RMA (you only had the card for a month right?) try the card on another system.
