Which one would you choose?
ASUS - GeForce GTX 650 Ti - 1 GB - OC
or
GIGABYTE - GeForce GTX 750 - 2GB - OC

I'm looking for the higher performance, I know that GTX 650 Ti Boost is a better choose but I want to compare GTX 650 Ti OC (1GB) with GTX 750 OC (2GB)

Solution
The GTX 750ti is around 5% slower than a GTX 650ti boost in performance, and around 20% faster than the GTX 650ti. it's a reasonable increase.

If you can find an R7 265 or R9 270 for similar money though, they are better overall, unless specific games you play favor one or the other brand.

The GTX 650 Ti OC will out-perform the GTX 750 OC (so the 750 OC is beaten also)

Here's a link with some good info: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-750-vs-GeForce-GTX-650-Ti

Note the Overclocking will only effect the Clock Speed and not the more important features of Texture Mapping units, Shading Units and SMX units.

On either of those GPUS (650 or 750, Ti or not, OC or stock clock) the memory bandwidth (128bit) will not allow proper use of more than 1GB of VRAM making the 2GB a sales gimmick more than a useful feature.

Well, the GTX 750 & GTX 650 ti look pretty much neck & neck overall, though the review on Anandtech put's the 750 higher. On Guru3d the 750/7790 perform similarly overall, and on Techpowerup's performance summary the GTX 650ti & 7790 are identical.

Conclusion, there isn't much in it. Personally i'd go with the GTX 750 as it's newer & the added Vram is more future proof.

My mistake I was looking at the TI Boost :) Just to add though, the 2GB VRAM is only 128 bit... so not something that the GPU can utilize properly (It was tested many times on the GTX 650 and Ti ) and the inability to use the extra GB was due to memory bandwidth not GPU power. Also although the 750 is newer it doesn't provide the same processing ability as the 650 Ti, the only real advantage is the VERY reduced need for power.

It's a decent improvement over the 650 Ti. It uses less power and cost the same or less (depending on Manufacturer and where you get it). It won't be a huge difference but considering the price and power requirements the GTX 750 Ti is a better way to go.
