Hi,
I am running Sapphire TriX R9 290, I have a dual monitor setup to clone display to my monitor which is connected via DVI and TV which is connected via HDMI.

Today, I am not getting any TV signal through the HDMI via my computer. I don't understand why. I checked my display settings, it doesn't detect my TV anymore. I tried switching 3 hdmi cables, same problem. I cables worked fine connect my laptop to the TV.

Is my HDMI port of my GPU busted or something? Is there anyway to test of the HDMI port on my gpu is working? I only have my TV to test to get output unfortunately.

You could try an HDMI to DVI adapter and see if it picks up on your monitor. You could also try to completely power off the TV and power it back on. Many TV's act strangely with graphics cards. I have a media center PC that shuts off the TV when playing anything at HBOGO. All other media works great.

But yeah, if the TV doesn't even show up as a display choice, then we don't even need to check refresh rates and such. Just focus on testing the port with another monitor/TV and use an adapter if you have to. Also swap the cable.

I completely powered off everything, still no display for the TV. since I don't have an HDMI to DVI adaptor can't test it. Really sad as this is no more than 2 months old GPU. Hope the warranty guys can sort this thing out.
