Hi,so after checking around i found out that my "GAMING" PC can't be upgraded so at the alienware forums i was told that the only fix with this is either to sell it and do a new build up or get a new case and a psu so getting a new Case and Psu works better for me.
im a real noob with hardware don't wanna end up doing a mess out of this so i'd really appreciate it if you guys can help me out with this.
what i want to do is upgrade my 660 to EVGA 770 2GB,will i have any problems with the BIOS ? or any other kind ? cuz ill be using all the parts from the X51 to the new case.
now this is what i want for the case :

will all the x51 parts fit well in this ?

and what PSU should i use ? to go with the x51 parts and the EVGA 770 2gb ?

Solution
I have already done this sorry to burst the guys bubble saying another psu will not run it is not right, sorry i brought back a old thread but it works, you will have a sensor error related to the power board but that is all, nothing to worry about the sensor error was related to a cable that was connected to the power board, its a 2 prong cable and is marked on the mainboard as sensor, but it no way impedes the motherboard at all. I have antect true power 620 watt psu driving this mainboard, and a geforce gtx 660 ti video card. all is rock solid and stable. if you can deal with the sensor error or just ignore it in bios by setting halt on all errors to off, or just hit F1. if i could find a way to jump the sensor 2 prong on the board...
You should ascertain whether the Alienware has a custom or standard motherboard. If it is standard, what form factor? Does your case support that form factor? The other components typically aren't as big an issue. I've seen that the Alienware
s back I/O ports are non-standard, so I don't know how you'd find a cover (maybe you can use the one from the existing case it it is removable?

BIOS is normally only tied to the CPU and Motherboard and HDD. I have never seen any BIOS attached to the GPU. I have looked this up and many people have changed the GPU with no issues.

You have not listed any other components like the CPU and other accessories, but buy a 750 watt PSU. Seasonic, Silverstone, and XFX are some of the best. Also, NZXT's HALE is very good.

^Very expensive but very good and is gold rated so there won't be much of a power draw(in comparison so lower rated PSU's)

^ also very good, relatively cheap, but is bronze rated, meaning more of a power draw will be present.

With that case, you will not be able to use the DVD drive.

However, everything else will fit inside as the mobo is a m-atx and the case supports that.

Good Luck!

you said a "H67 motherboard"i just checked more and what i have is a H61,so does that change anything here or ?

Motherboard
Manufacturer Alienware
Product 0KM92T
Chipset Intel PCH H61
ePPID CN0KM92T697022681696

plus when i asked them on the alienware forum they never said anything about changing the motherboard they only told me to get a new case and at least a 500w psu
