My msi r9 280x seems to be overheating because of poor air flow inside zalman z1 case so I was wondering how to improve that air flow.

The case: http://www.zalman.com/global/product/Product_Read.php?I...

My specs:
asrock 970 pro 3 r2.0
amd fx6300 (stock cooler)
msi r9 280x gaming oc
DDR3 4GB
energon 650W power supply
500GB HDD

btw I was thinking of buying this cooler for overclocking: http://www.zalman.com/global/product/Product_Read.php?I...
could he somehow improve the air flow

I would go with a large air cooler to help move more air. I would clean out the card and make sure you have good cable management in the case to keep the air flow smooth. Looks like there's a slot for another fan at the front, and probably top. could add some extras.

the noctua will most likely cool you CPU better and also help with your system temps. you can orientate it to blow air out the top or back of the case so it still helps with exhaust.
