The specs in my PC are: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G850 @ 2.90GHz - AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series - 4.1 GB of memory.
I know it's pretty bad but i don't have a great deal of money for this stuff. Anyway i know that next gen consoles are out and i'm gonna fall behind. I've never wanted to run max settings or anything i just want to be able to play anything i want and keep up with my friends. Somebody recently told me if i wanted to play things like the division i would need a completely new computer. This made me sad as i spent £500 on this 1 and a half years ago. Anyway should i upgrade or buy a new computer and if so can i keep any of these old components to cut cost. Again i simply want to keep up with consoles nothing more.
I think i have a fractal core 1000 and a H61M-P31 G3
Also if i do have to make a new PC can anybody link me a good build for me?
Also it is not store bought.

Well you have a LGA 1155 motherboard so that is good. You could get a 3000 series i5 and a gtx 750ti for around $350 dollars and that should get you up to speed on the consoles.

For about $270 you could get a 3000 series i3 and a gtx 750ti, but it wouldnt be as good

And for $220 you could get 3000 series i3 and a gtx 750 which would be fairly low end but would play games.
