Cheap SSD vs Expensive

Im looking to get a cheap ssd but still have adequate performance and leave me some room for my budget.

Any suggestions ?

My current build in progress:
CPU: FX 8320
GPU: 7850 CF / Upgrading to R9 290
MoBo: Asus M5A99fx Pro R2.0
PSU: Corsair CX750m
Case: NZXT H440
CPU Cooler: Kraken x60
Ram: 8gb Hyperx Black 4gbx2 1866

reliability, speed, trim support
depends on how much room you need as well
small ssd + hdd?
full system on ssd?
lots of stuff on ssd + hdd?

samsung evo 120GB is a good starting point + hdd

Mainly to put my OS onto.. and the drivers of course. So I was looking at 64 - 128 + 2 hdd I already have.

Get nothing smaller than a 128GB. Or the above mentioned Crucial 256GB.

I may be purchasing the Evo 120.. rather 2.

I have heard that Kingston pulled some part swapping with their SSD after reviews so their out (sadly)

I only recommend the V300 as the cheapest alternative to my customers that really want an SSD but can barely fit one in their budget.
