How much should i overclock my cpu?

I got a i5 4670k proccesor and two (sli) gtx 770 gigabyte (overclocked) in my newly built pc and im wondering how much i should overclock the cpu so that it doesnt bottleneck my gpu:s. I can go up to 4.5 ghz without reaching unsafe temperatures but i dont wanna overclock more than needed. Any help would be appreciated :)

Minecraft is more CPU dependent than GPU dependent (so yes, you would see a benefit from overclocking). This isn't a common trend in modern games for the most part. An extra GTX 770 probably won't help too much though.

If you have a decent CPU cooler, and you've shown that your motherboard is decent, then there's no reason not to overclock as long as you do it safely.

my motherboard is fine with overclocking: Gigabyte GA Z87 UD3H

So your saying that if I play for example minecraft (with extreme graphicsmods) with 4.5 ghz overclock, it wont run any smoother than it does with 3.4 ghz?
