Hi Guys / Girls

Quick question.... I am wanting to upgrade my system to a gtx 770 and 8gb RAM but I just want to know with my current processor, see title, will it be ok? I know I need to upgrade it at some point but cash is tight and can only afford the RAM and gfx upgrade for now.

Will I notice performance issues with that CPU or would it be ok for the time being?

Thanks in advance...

Solution
Depends on the titles you plan on running. Some are CPU bound while others are GPU bound. Unless you're planning to get a faster GPU at some later date, for use with a CPU upgrade or new system, I wouldn't sweat the pairing you mention. The GTX 770 should allow your CPU to stretch it's legs with little worry of GPU bottlenecking.

Should be a fairly good combination I think. Not the fastest per-core performance available, but far from the worst. As a temporary solution it really wouldn't matter anyway, buy the beefiest card you can get with your budget. When you can upgrade the CPU and motherboard you will be better off.
