I know this is a strange request, if I had a pair of cards I'd go SLI but all I have to work with right now that I can stick in this board is this crusty ole radeon 9250 PCI (not PCIe). At power-up I can see the bulb in the screen light up but no text(hit the del key for bios) but nothing. Is this board just too highpowered to even be botherd with such a relic as this card? thx

Well, you probably have to enter the bios and change the init display setting to PCI instead of PCIe. In order to do this, though, you will have to get a PCIe video card. Perhaps you can find a friend who can loan you one for an hour or so to get this changed over?

There is a BIOS setting for PCI, or PCIe video card in the BIOS, but the board should automatically detect which card you have installed. You might try resetting the BIOS to defaults using the jumper. Other than that, it should work fine, unless the card you have is bad.
