I have used an IBM M keyboard for years. I need the size and key spacing of it because I have arthritis. I find I don't get fingers stuck in keys or hit wrong keys when my fingers aren't flexing that well. Problem at this office, the click drives everyone else a bit whacky.
Can someone recommend a keyboard that size for my comfort but without the click for my coworkers' sanity.
Thank you all for your time. Much appreciated.

unicomp has remakes of all the old ibm models using the same equipment originally used to make them. they are about 80% clones.

the quiet touch is a rubber dome model of the M.

its not mechanical and will not have the same feel as the original m however it is MUCH quieter and it still has the same shape and size as the m.

if you absolutely must have some form of mechanical.... deck keyboards legend is mechanical and of similar size however its both expensive at $200 and only linear (no key letoff)

if you dont mind a bit of variation... you could try a cherry mx brown keyswitch as mentioned above but i doubt you will find any keyboards as large and hefty as the m.
