I have windows 8.1 and all of a sudden my drives were missing from "This PC" after trying to save a paint file to my pictures and getting the following error "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."
Also, if I plug in a usb drive I hear it make a sound like it is detected, however no drive shows up in "This PC." After restarting like 100 times, two of my drives hdd's are finally showing up in This PC but still have the restrictions if I try to click on them. I have an ssd as my boot drive.
Any idea how to fix this?
