well, the i7 4770k should be just fine when using the integrated graphics, im not too sure wht the icons appear slowly, maybe you could open a new thread asking about that

see im buying it because i have a brand new desktop on startup my icons load slowly thn the comp runs fast so im guessing its the lag of graphics so im keeping a gc as im keeping 1 i want 1 that can play good amount of games as well what do u think the lag of icons on startup is the prob of gpu or its something else

ohhhh, that is a problem with a slow hard drive, either from just being a slow drive, or you have too much stuff that runs when you start windows. if you know your pc specs it would help.
no theres nothing on startup iv disabled everything so its not a graphics problem are u sure because iv put my friends hdd as well gives the same problem
