Long story short, our forward lookup zones were deleted and then recreated again. Since this deletion, print jobs to our print server have been very slow. The DNS zones were recreated exactly as before. I have tried printing from the print server as well, and it is still slow. Can anyone think of why this is happening? Is there anything else I need to check that may have been screwed up from deleting DNS zones? Any help will be much appreciated!

Check your DHCP setup - see if you have the same primary DNS server.

For testing, attach the printer to another queue/printserver & test printing to there. See if the problem follows the printer, print server, or server.

Thank you for the reply. We ended up going through each printer and selecting the boxes "render on clients machine" and "send directly to printer. This may be a band-aide to the problem but it got the business back up and running for the time being. What's weird is it had been running great for a few weeks.
