A MoBo / CPU ain't going to cut it .... here's 4770k w/ 750 ti doing 50 - 70

I always recommend that when on a budget you score the lowest performance card that can do SLI..... makes for an easy upgrade

yep....a newer mobo and cpu will not give you a significant increase, if any, in fps performance...its all the gpu in there...obviously for massive multiplayer matches on battlefield, a more powerful cpu may help, but spending more than $200 for a new cpu for like 10 fps difference doesnt make alot of sense...if you want to upgrade something, its the gpu

As JackNaylorPE and myself have already mentioned, buying a new mobo and cpu will not benefit you in any way, the cpu you currently have is very good anyways......if you want to upgrade something, its the gpu that will give you extra frames, not the cpu or motherboard

I checked this GPU with with linked processor and mobo but I have a doubt in mind that... that pc has different hard disk and RAM 1666 hz so does it make any difference

An i5-4590 with an H97 motherboard. Great pair for the price, and beats anything from AMD.

The i3-540 may work okay for awhile, but it really is growing a bit long in the tooth. You may be able to get more frames NOW and get a GTX 760 or R9 280, but as new games come out, the i3 is simply not going to work. Getting a Haswell i5 quad core will put you in a much better position.
