First time gaming rig building

I have always dreamed of building my own PC but couldn't ever afford it. Now that I can afford building one, I'm a little lost by the offering! I have quite a tight budget and I'm not in search of a high-end gaming rig. I'm comfortable with playing a few-year-old games and some newer ones with lower settings.

I'm planning to get a FX-6300 CPU alongside with Asrock 970 Pro3 R2.0 mobo and GTX 750 Ti for graphics. I might do some light OC and I've read good reviews about Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212. I'm going to back this with a SSD. What do you think about this core build?

its pretty good I have the same setup only a r9 280x instead of 750 Ti but overclocking the processor wont give you a big performance boost with the 750 Ti

I thought that overclocking CPU would at least provide overall performance boost. I'm not looking for too fancy graphics. Would you recommend some other graphics card over 750 Ti?
