SSD and HDD doesn't show on any computer at all

So i bought a new motherboard and a CPU and while booting for the first time after finishing building the pc, i notice that neither my SSD and HDD isnt recognized in the BIOS. I've tried different cables and nothing seem to work. I gave it to my friend who took it home and tried to reformat the SSD, but it didnt even show there.

I refuse to believe that 1 SSD and 2 HDD broke in the process. I've tried googling for hours but i cant find a fix.

Gigabyte z97-gaming 7
2x Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 16GB and 2x Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz 4GB CL9
Chieftec Super Series 750W PSU
x2 XFX Radeon HD 5850 1GB GDDR5
x2 Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB SATA2
OCZ SSD Agility 3 120GB

if the drives arent being powered, they wont show.
It could be a sata legacy driver issue.
That mobo has a debug led, what code is it displaying?

When turn the computer on the display says first just some random numbers. Then it sticks with A2 for a short moment, then AE, then it freezes at A0 or AO (the display on the motherboard of course). Have no clue what that means.

a2 means ide detect, meaning it detected a drive in the system, while a0 means ide initialization. Check if you dont have any disc inside the disc reader/writter, if you did have any, remove it and restart, check if you get another code.

This is probably a dumb question, but how do i open the disc reader? tried googling but somehow i cant find any.
Also the Led indicator show A6 or Ab in BIOS

It's the disc tray from the optical disc drive or CD/DVD drive, you name it. If you left any disc inside it could affect the troubleshooting.

Im pretty sure i have a cd inside of it, but i cant open it. Even with the "emergency" eject

Now that is some problem, but for now just unplug it from the mobo so you can check if you get another code from the debug leg.

It showed A9 for a couple of seconds before going back to A6 or AB
