Hi i have a Samsung Windows 8 PC Laptop, and i cannot connect to the internet. My router says that the internet connection is good and working, but i cannot open internet. I was told my someone is could be a wireless network adapter, a small disc inside my computer itself that isnt working. Please some help would be nice.

on newer laptops the wifi cards can be turned off with a funtion key or a switch. most newer laptop have an led now that shows if the wifi port is on or off. look at your user guild for the laptop and see if the wifi port is on or off. if it off it wont see any wifi networks. if it on it should see if it working all the networks within range. if the wifi card is on and it sees your network the last thing you need is the wep or wpa key if you have the router password protected.
