Trying to decide which one to get, I don't have enough for anything else, and I don't want anything from nvidia because what I do doesn't benefit from cuda. I can't overclock at all for what it is that I am doing, so overclocking is out of the question because overclocking makes the app that I use unstable. Any why don't you just buy this card will simply be ignored and I won't respond back. Thanks to anyone that will answer the right way and won't go off on different cards.

Well its in the numbers really, 280 performs much better than a 270. Though you know, if you really mention your PC specs (for bottlenecking concerns) it'll be really helpful in suggesting you which card to buy.
If you ask me which card is the best bang for the buck, surely its the Sapphire TOXIC one, the TOXIC one really outperforms the other 270x cards available in the market by a fair margin. Overall I read some pretty good reviews over the cooler. It'll be the best bet for your money. Just be sure to check it fits in your case as its a pretty long card.
Though at the end of the day who doesnt like better performance. If 280 fits in your budget, surely get that. No looking here and there.
