I recently got the dev preview for windows phone 8.1 and had some time to mess around with Cortana, this also raised a few questions.

1. Can Cortana support compound commands or just not yet?

Ex: When I ask to set an alarm and look up the weather she does the first task but, not the second. Does Microsoft plan to doing something that will allow compound commands?

2.Is it possible for someone to make an app that could allow the user to create custom commands for Cortana?

3. I made a background picture for my for the picture background feature and not all apps have the picture on them. Will Microsoft release updates that allow all apps to be transparent or is it up to the creator of the app?

1. No, Siri doesn't even do that.

2. Highly doubt it. It is a Microsoft product, neither Apple nor Google do this.

3. I know what you mean, that is the developers job. They may or may not release updates that do that. I have a Lumia 925 on 8.1 and I know what you mean, I wish the whole thing had the picture.
