Probably a dead power supply. Smell the inside of your PC. Any sense of smoke? What power supply? Were you using a power strip or straight into the wall. Getting a higher quality PSU can help prevent this. Your motherboard or other components could potentially be dead as well. Unplug all you parts, and take a paper clip and put one side in the green wire and the other in the black, as demonstrated in this video:http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6hXdvCUTe4U

That can be a potential cause. Drop down the other specs please. If you don't smell anything, sure you've done this, but please turn off your power supply and unplugnit completely. Unplug and reinsert the 24 pin and 8 pin. Are you using a dedicated graphics card? Does your PC turn on at all? If not, likely a dead PSU, but can be a dead mobo Do any of the fans spin? Do you hear any beeps?

Alright. The fans spin so that is a really good sign. Sorry, but it sounds like a dead graphics card. Take out your graphics card and plug in the monitor cable to the motherboard. Go into the bios and check if integrated graphics is disabled, if so enable it, and take out the r9 280 and plug in the monitor to the onboard graphics card. Ugh, feel so bad for you. I would be sad if my 7770 died. Is it under warranty?

Hi there, i feel sorry for you but you should have used an inverter/UPS to avoid such situations. An inverter/UPS will convert the stored DC supply to required AC when there is a power cut. When i was confused to chose the best inverter for my residence i got guldens from the experts at Inverters in chennai hope you will do the same :)
