GTX 780 Ti Temperatures Worrying Me

Hey guys,

I'm here to ask if my GPU temps seem reasonable to you guys as i've been worrying for quite some time and do not want to risk damaging them.

Basically I have two EVGA GTX 780 Ti's, both superclocked with the original cooler (Exhaust cooling). When playing certain games (DayZ Mod - unoptimised though) I notice that my temperatures can race up to 70c, even with a custom fan curve, i.e. @ 60c fan will turn up to 70%.

It could be the positioning of my case, since it's backed up to a wall which could cause poor cooling or circulation but I am planning on watercooling everything by September.

I read somewhere that it's fine if it's below 80 or so but I just came here to make sure I came here.

Thanks in advance guys. :)

You are more than fine, you don't need to worry unless you're getting close to 90C. I have GTX 780s in SLI with the reference cooler and they hit ~80C, which is perfectly normal. In fact you are getting great temps for an SLI setup.

Thanks very much for the quick response, pal! That's good to hear from someone with another pair of 780 Ti's, i've been surfing around for a while now.

Much appreciated!
