I am starting my own Computer repair business making house calls so I need to have everything mobile.

I have my laptop that I will take to a customer's residence and needed a way to be able to use quickbooks while on the road ( Not literally while Driving ) and also be able to use the same information on my Home Pc.

The easiest way I've found to do this is to put my company quickbooks file on a USB drive and just plug it into either computer that I need to use. The major drawback with this is that all my customers information and my finance information would be on that flash drive, so if I loose that drive someone could easily get all the information off of it.

I have been looking at the hardware encrypted flash drives like the Apricorn Aegis Secure Key, or the Iron key, etc and I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with any of the hardware encrypted flash drives or any recommendations on one to purchase?

Thank you.

My take on these is if you are not going to get one with a keypad/fringerprint reader then you might as well get a vanilla flash drive and install truecrypt.
So your options are
Defender F200 (fingerprint)
Aegeis Secure Key (keypad)
Corsair Padlock (keypad) <-- The most affordable

edit - please dont forget that important data should never be stored on just one device so keep a backup copy of the file on your laptop (in a secure folder naturally)
