That's the build I'm thinking about doing but here's my questions:

When will I need to start upgrading and which parts can I upgrade? or can I upgrade everything in this build?
Where do I start upgrading?
How well can this perform on most games plus with casual video and Photoshop editing?
What about the monitor mouse and key board what do you guys recommend?

I know its a lot of questions but i just want to know what you think or recommend before making choices ya know.

Solution
i personally would change your graphics card to a gtx 770, the cost is more, however if you are using the rig for mainly gaming, you'll appreciate the upgrade, if you make that change it will likely be a few years before you would even need to think about an upgrade, other than that it is a solid build, as for a keyboard i would recomend the razor black widow 2013, for the mouse a razor death adder 2013, the monitor is mainly up to you however i would recomend the Asus VG248QE.

Is there something wrong with that motherboard? What is the difference between the one I picked and the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

I'm really liking the Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard but is it compatible with my whole setup? How do i know if all my parts for this rig are compatible?
