Hi guys,
I built my new pc around 3-4 months ago, and now whenever I start it up, it will go to windows loading screen then turn off again, and then it will start back up and ask me to run windows normally or fix the problems. If i tell it to run normally it keeps getting to windows then restarting, and if I run fix problems, it tells me it cannot fix the problems and turns off. It takes me a few tries of selecting each one to get it to finally start. Could anyone provide any insight? Parts list as follows, by the way every part was new when bought.

CPU - AMD FX-6300
Motherboard - ASRock 970 Extreme3
GPU - Gigabyte Radeon R9 270x
RAM - 2 x 4Gb GSkill Ripjaws-x
Operating System - Windows 7 64-bit

IS your Power supply big enough?

Could also be your windows files got messed up. I would try to use the repair disc or maybe clean install windows if you have everything backed up.

I'm running a 650W power supply, which should be more than enough for my build. If I try repair windows I won't need to back up right?

Yea if you have the repair disc it should try to fix your MBR and you won't need a backup for that.

It's hard to say what happened but possible a windows file became corrupt. Possible virus as well.

Try the startup repair first.

Don't think it's a virus as I have full protection and ran a full scan, and have run malwarebytes scans as well. I will try the startup repair, thank you
