...it crashes playing Civ, Sony has no update since release for the driver...any fix? Can I replace the graphics card? ideas?

I think this forum is for more advanced problems, I'm probably just wasting your time with this...sorry. I just noticed the rules "no video problems", which explains why it was deleted.

yeah, they had me uninstall, reinstall and then download some update, but it didn't install correctly, so they asked me to contact the software manufacturer (Civ V) to ask if it was compatible with my computer? Complete joke. A few forums I have found say that there is no update without it being a modded upgrade for the driver, which is a risk...I'm just thinking I'll upgrade to a better graphics card...

You can't just upgrade the GPU. Most all in ones are similar to a laptop but with no battery. The GPU is soldered to the motherboard and not upgradable as the system lacks a 16x pci-e slot. For a current driver have you tried Nvidia's website geforce.com, they have drivers for the mobile cards.
