So i'm looking into updating my graphics card. (Geforce gtx 650 1gb) I have a few questions.
1. Do I need to uninstall all my old drivers? This was a custom build pc so everything was previously installed on it. In control panel in shows Nvidia 3d vision controller, Nvidia 3d vision, Nvidia Geforce experience, Nvidia Graphics driver, Nvidia HD audio, and Nvidia HD physicX. Do I have to uninstall all of these? And If I did uninstall all of these wouldn't my pc shutdown? First time doing this so I was wondering how to correctly do it.
2. The card I planned on getting was the EVGA geforce gtx 750 ti 2gb, when I download the new drivers do I get then from the EVGA website or the Nvidia website?
3.Does the Geforce experience driver just tell me when there is an update because thats what it seems like.

Please only reply if you truly have done this before and can answer the first question and thats what I really want to know, the uninstalling confuses me it seems like your pc would screw up if you uninstalled while it was running.

Thanks,

Solution
1. First uninstall your old drivers( everything, to be on safe side), then install the new graphics card in Motherboard and then install latest drivers. While uninstalling old drivers your PC will restart a few times and VGA drivers will be installed automatically by windows and you'll able to use your PC once you uninstalled old drivers, though you'll get VGA resolution (640×480). Installing the drivers again will bring everything back to normal.

2. Nvidia or EVGA website. Thats a personal prefernce but I always use Nvidia website to download drivers.

3. The Geforce experience can check for driver updates, game optimization, etc ( requires internet connection)

Thank you so I should expect frequent restarts, uninstall everything listed above and download latest drivers from Nvidia, Got it!
