hey i have just put together a new build, and before i order the parts i would like to make sure that everything is ok, this is my first solo build however i have done a decent amount of research. my build will mostly be used for gaming and rendering. one thing i am interested in that i am not sure about would be water cooling, is it worth the cost? budget of 3k and is slightly flexable. here is the build link http://pcpartpicker.com/user/bloorevere/saved/Cr8j4D

Solution
You don't need AIO because air cooler like NH-D14 or NH-U14S are very good at their job. Will you be going for AIO iuf the temps differences are mere 1-2c?

Anyhow, it is your call to make.

EVGA GTX 780Ti SC is recommended because EVGA products are known for their reliability, endurance and backed by very effective customer support.

Samsung 840 EVO is a much better choice than Intel 730 series. Have you check the power consumption of Intel 730 series SSD. This is actually a Enterprise level SSD which Intel is targeting toward consumer end. Even at Idle it draws 1.5W with maximum of 5W at load. Its power requirements are such on a higher side that it draws power from 12v rail of the PSU.

Solid build. Few changes which I've made are :

Change the SSD to Samsung EVO 840
Change the HDD to WD Blue
Change the GPU to EVGA 780Ti SC ACX

everything looks quite nice, and i wouldnt recommend getting an air cooler for that cpu, a 240mm AIO will be good to keep it cool enough. otherwise quite a nice build, and have you seen the new fans Noctua has? they are dark greyish

Water cooling will be a good idea, like the corsair h110 is an excellent cooler, and slapping two of your fans on will make this an ultra quiet rig

ok that is good i am very much so considering watercooling, however i am already over my original budget and am trying not to spend to much money, however if it will make a noticeable difference or will extend the life of my pc i have zero problem adding a few more bucks to the end price. how much, in total would it cost to add watercooling to the system? just a rough estimate would suffice

Reason for changing the Black drive to the Blue drive is the mere fact that both have 7200 RPM and 64MB Cache. Better save some bucks there. Pointless to say WD Black is a power horse. :)
