I have a D-Link DWA 130 wireless usb adapter when use the adapter i get between 6-10mbps but when i connect through ethernet my speeds are 30-35mbps. At first i had troubles with the dlink wireless manager so i uninstalled it keep the drivers and used the regular windows "connect to" function thingy. I have windows 7 pro 64bit. All my other computers reach the 30-35mbps speeds just this computer using the dlink adapter cant reach those speeds and i dont know why.

Solution
Can you give the specs of the 6-10mbps computer and the 30+mbps computers.

Also try uninstalling all the dlink drivers and re-installing them.

But I really think it is the PCs capability that is causing that low mbps rate.

So i reinstalled the drivers and same thing happened, and about an hour after i get my speeds back up to 30mbps so i think its ok now thanks for the help. I think maybe i get those speeds cause im on cable and speeds vary around certain hours.
