About once every few weeks or so I have been receiving a blue screen of death. Here is all of the information that I have available on it. Help figuring out what is causing it and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated! I think there are 3 different types of crashes I'm experiencing based on the information in the mini dump. Here is the one that happened tonight with all of the information I have available. The other two will only have the mini dump information.

While you go through my cleaning procedure.I will look up some possible cures for these errors.

Let's first start by doing some checking on possible virus or malware.Since you said you have run sfc /scannow there is no need to do it.

We are going to start with scanning system for errors.

In the start menu in the search box Type command prompt or cmd.

Then open the cmd now while in CMD Type--> chkdsk /r

Let it run it's scan after it's scan it will ask (Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)) Press Y for yes. Then re boot system.

No need to do sfc scan now since you have done this all ready.

After that is done let's go back into CMD and run a sfc /scannow this might take 7 min's or so.The sfc /scannow command will scan all protected system files, and replace corrupted files with a cached copy that is located in a compressed folder at %WinDir%\System32\dllcache.

After this is done reboot system.

Then we will check your temp folders and delete all files and folders in that folder.

To start open your Start menu then in the search box Type this-->> %temp%.

Another page will pop up while the other page is open.Highlight every thing in that folder and delete all of it.warning there is one file that can not be delted in this folder. It is the fax folder i think.

Then we are going to do a full system scan of the following in F8 safe mode. The Links are trusted i hope you got a 64bit system. For AVG to run.
Malwarebytes is are first scan.

I'm running through the scans today to see if they find anything. I had another question for you regarding the "chkdsk /r" and "sfc /scannow". When I run both of those commands will they only check my C drive? I have 2 hard drives and I can't tell if it's checking both of them for errors or just the C drive. My C drive basically only has windows 7 on it. My E drive has everything else and is probably where the problem exists if there is one.

Well we can check both of them if you like too.

At the command prompt, type the drive letter of the drive you want to check (followed by a colon), and then press Enter. For example, chkdsk E: which ever your letter is for your secondary drive is.

As for the sfc scannow it only checks your main drive,And since you said you have all ready done this you can pass it.If there are no errors then there is no need to run.

I checked both of my hard drives using chkdsk and did the sfc scannow. No problems were detected during any of the tests. I did complete system scans using Malwarebytes and AVG. Malwarebytes found 2 PUPs but that was it. Both of them were removed from the system. Any other suggestions? The blue screen only happened once every few weeks so it's going to be difficult to know when the source of the problem has been fixed but I'll keep trying everything I can to try to identify what is causing it!
