Hey guys, I currently have the Alienware x51 R2.
Specs: i7 3770k
GeForce Gtx 660
Samsung SSD pm830 2.5 7mm 256gb
16gb of Ram.
Standard 330 Watt PSU
Windows 7.
I'm interested in buying more storage space, like maybe the Western Digital Black 7200rpm 1tb HHD. My question is, will it fit in my case? Or is too much wattage? If so could i just get an external hard drive? Any help is gladly appreciated. Thank you. :)

Hey guys, quick question.

Anyway, I'm interested in upgrading my PSU from the standard 330 watts to something bigger, Since the stock PSU is external, is there any power supplys that would work? I've read that the cx 600 would be good, but that's meant to be internal, would it still work? Please help me, any help is gladly needed. Thank you. :)

It would fit but you wouldn't be able to use your ssd anymore.

You could do something like described in this thread: http://en.community.dell.com/owners-club/alienware/f/37...
But I would just get a new case and put the PSU and the HDD in that.
