How can I make SLI or Crossfire

My motherboard has 2 Pcie 16 3.0 slots. How can make my computer Nvidia SLI or AMD Crossfire? Just by inserting two graphic cards with same specification?

yes you need two matching cards and a 850w power supply or greater if your using two high end cards due to the wattage needed for each card. some of the lower end cards can get by with a 750w unit.
