So, i recently built myself a new pc and i ran into a bit of problems. just finished building my pc and im itching to start it up and game because i pretty much built it for gaming, that said its a pretty cheap build nothing fancy that i spend thousands on but i still expect it to run some new titles on medium to high maybe even ultra settings. So after triple checking all the wiring to be in right places and well seated i check everything else Gpu, ram, hdd, cpu, fans, etc. everything seems to be perfect so i do a test run without the monitor, i just plug in the powersupply to the nearest outlet and flick the switch. Everything runs beautifully until i take my computer to the monitor and hook it up. I connect my mouse, keyboard, etc to my pc and my hdmi cable to my monitor, i flip the switch on my powersupply and the pc runs fine nothing seems to be wrong with it but my monitor is having problems displaying. After switching out hdmi cables again and again and even hooking it up with DVI and VGA nothing happens, my monitor simply does not want to display. I have no idea whether the problem that i am having has to do with the hardware inside my pc (which is practically new) or my monitor. I am extremely frustrated to point of crying because everything was perfect and then my monitor has to go screw everything up. I do have a feeling however that it might not be the monitor because its had problems like this before but never like this. its always started up after a couple of tries, and also i just tried it on another monitor that i had laying around and nothing both of them just turn on for a moment with a window saying no hdmi input signal then go back to sleep. I don't know if it might be the gpu or ram, ill probably try to play around with it removing the ram and putting it in different slots as well as re-seating my gpu to see if that works, and putting that in different slots. Please help guys I'm pretty desperate at this point and I really don't know what I'm gonna do if toying around with the insides doesn't work. I'm thinking of taking it to geek squad to get it checked out but i wanna try to do something myself before i spend more money fixing something I'm sure is a small problem.

thanks in advance.

shows that mb does not support the cpu you have.

Yeah its correct bro... It seems that your mobo doesn't support the processor. Your motherboard will only support Support for Socket AM3 processors: AMD Phenomâ„¢ II X6 / X4 / X3 / X2 (except 920 / 940) / Athlon II X4 / X3 / X2 / Sempron processors. Go here for more info. http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/890GX%20Extreme4/?cat=CPU. Sorry to say dude. Its whether your must change the processor according to the mobo spec. Hopefully the pins are not damaged due to incompatible slot. Do research well.
