hi
im just wondering if my temps will be allright in my build

my build consists of;

case; corsair 650D
PSU; corsair RM seiries 650W 80 plus gold
motherboard; Asrock extreme 6 z77
CPU intel core 15 3570K
cooler; cool master hyper 212 EVO
network adapter; TP-Link TL-WN881ND 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Express Adapter
ssd; 2x SanDisk SDSSDHP-128G-G25 128 GB Ultra Plus
graphics card; Gigabyte GV-R929OC-4GD Radeon R9 290 4gb or the
Gigabyte GTX770 Nvidia Graphics Card PCI-e / 4GB GDDR5 Memory / DVI / 1 GPU

ive been doing alot of research on the GPU's and i know the R9 290 runs alot hotter then the gtx 770 but is more powerful and also makes alot of noise. My question is will my cooler (the Cool Master 212 EVO) be enough to keep the system cool i dont want the pc to be really noisy while im playing games.

thanks in advance.

Solution

Just get the 770 4GB then.

Nothing should run as high as 90C, but they do run quite high. IMO Nvidia are better than AMD on cooling and noise because they don't produce so much heat, so the fans can run slower, thus making less noise. The 780 can run 4 monitors as well, it's just the 780's graphics will be higher

You have a decent CPU cooler that can handle overclocking, the GPU cooler is one of the best. Only thing you might want an extra few fans for airflow in your case
