Hi guys I want to buy AMD FX 4300 but im not sure which graphic card is best?
I have selected two graphic cards:
Sapphire Radeon R7 260x 2 GB
Zotac Nvidia GTX 650 Ti 2gb
Which of these is more compatible with the fx 4300 and wont get bottlenecked by it and will also give good fps?

P.S. Im also buying corsair 550w psu

More about : graphic card amd 4300

Probably the r7 260x or a 750ti. I see no reason to buy a 650 at all anymore.

If you can afford it getting an evga, corsiar, xfx, or seasonic 450-500W would prob be ideal.

If not you can prob run it on your PSU.

tell us the model of psu . a 260x is in the same category as a 750 ti and i would prefer a 260x over a 750 ti.

btw i also have a fx 4300 overclocked to 4.4 ghz on cm 220x with a evga 750.(got it really cheap just for 110$)

Yea I am..
And the fx 4300 wont bottleneck it r7 260x right?

There will always be a bottleneck. But I don't think the fx 4300 will bottleneck the R7.

I have a old i7-860 with a amd 6970 and I have not the feeling my cpu bottlenecks the gpu.

yup there wont be substantial bottleneck though the story might be different if you play rts titles

so i should go for the r7 260x instead of the gtx 650 ti??

sorry for the late reply... but there are 2 versions of the Sapphire r7 260x...
One is the r7 260x with 2 DVI Ports... and the other one with 1 DVI ports..
Can u please check and tell me the difference between these and are both similar performance wise?

I only see the 2 dvi version on their site. It says OC so you would assume the clock speeds are probably higher but im not sure since I can't compare the two I don't see the 1 dvi version you mentioned.

Thanks but i think im gonna buy the MSI r7 260x which is factory overclocked and is faster than the r7 260x dvi 1 version and just 11$ more. Can u tell me if its a good VFM Card?
Here is its link :

i think you should overclock it yourself rather than buy a factory overclocked card (you will learn a lot by overclocking a gpu) but the msi one you listed has great cooling capacity and airflow so i think its a great buy for only 11$ extra and you may overclock it even higher due to this. good luck and happy gaming.
