I own a Dell inspiron 530 with only a 300 Watt psu.

It has a Intel c2d e7300 CPU. I use a GT 630 card now, but cant play the games i want like Battlefield 3, Far Cry 3....

Will a updrate to a GTX 750ti work with my system.... and will it help with my old CPU ?

Thx!

If I punch your system into the calculator it comes up 256w recommended and 206w minimum including a 750ti.

Dell usually has pretty solid power supplies and the GTX750 and GTX750ti are made to work with a 300w power supply so I would say yes, it will work fine.

Even with an older c2d you should see a MASSIVE difference in fps with a 750ti vs a 630. The 750ti is 400-500% faster than a 630 so even if your CPU is holding it back some you will notice a big difference.

Hi,
The minimum system power requirement for a GTX 750 Ti is 300W. http://bit.ly/1qw4tcq will help you with the complete specifications. So, if you have a PSU of 300W you should be able to upgrade the video card.
