Im in the market looking for a new cpu cooler. I am running an
intel i5 3550 and the temps at idle reach upto 40°C (i live in a hot country and its burning down here right now :D).
And at load they reach up and over 80°C (not full load yet its only when im playing watch dogs and the load is around 50-60%)
Hence the reason to be looking for a new cpu cooler. I dont really have many options with air coolers because my case restricts it so i said lets get a water cooler and get it over with. I found these 2 coolers at affordable prices. I need a little help in deciding which one should i get .
The prices are almost the same with the corsair one slightly expensive.
So which one performs better and which one should i get?
Cheers!

I have the older H50 in a build (I think, built it last year and gave it away). It was OK IIRC, there were some ideosyncracies in mounting it the way I wanted with the fan and I think I ended up getting an aftermarket fan to resolve my issue - not a biggie.

OTOH, I read here about someone using the WAter 3 and the manual looked crappy - just a bung of pictures and stuff that didn't help him in correctly mounting the setup.

Not a ringing endorsement of either, but of the two I'd go with the Corsair.

Perhaps look on Newegg and read the reviews?

Well from the cooling perspective i found both quite the same and in my opinion mounting shouldnt be that big of an issue there are alot of videos out there that give you the general idea how to put it up. But when it comes to relaibility i think corsair does have an upper hand doesnt it?
