Used all of the parts here http://pcpartpicker.com/user/nzae/saved/ZVTPxr
Spent all night trying to make it. Took the motherboard in and out of the case unscrewing it and the screwdriver trick works to power the motherboard up and start the fans when the motherboard is OUTSIDE of the case. But as soon as I put it inside and put in my graphics card it magically won't start anymore with the screwdriver trick and I don't know what to do.
I took my graphics card out but it still won't start. I really don't want to unscrew the motherboard a third time and take it out of my case again. Please help
Quickly
Motherboard is ASROCK H97 PRO4 and graphics card is GTX 770
I used the PCIE chord adapter that game with the GTX 770 trying it with and without the adapter the screwdriver trick just seems to work at random. And I don't know how to start this PC I've built now almost two times over by taking it apart again!
Ugh this sucks please anything anyone can do to help I would appreciate

The way you say that it works outside the case, makes me think there may be a standoff underneath the motehrboard that is shorting it out, making it not boot. Other than that, I'm not sure

What is a standoff?
The little brass screw things that you screw the motherboard into

I now have my motherboard in my computer, it starts connected to all drives and RAM and my disk drive and optical drive. It starts with the screwdriver trick. When I put the GTX 770 in it DOESNT start anymore with the trick. When I took it out and unpluged the PCIe it started again, in the case.
Still think it's a standoff or not sure? My graphics card is really big so it could be touching wires or something which would touch the metal if you think that would casue something... PLEASE help

I unscrewed a lot of the scews holding my motherboard to my computer case and put my grahpics card and screwed it in and now it all works! I connected it to HDMI display and it says please insert boot disk drive so it's ready for a windows installation!
BUT my fans inside of my case (not the CPU fan or the power fan) but the ones connected to the actaul case do NOT work. They don't turn on via the fan controller on my case and they DO NOT light up or SPIN. This will be big problem in later use probably yeah? How do I get the case fans to work?
If anyone can help me with this, then I'll be good to go!

Try clearing the CMOS when the GPU is plugged in. Otherwise it could be that the power supply cannot supply enough power
