I have Win 7 Pro and sometimes when I go to click on the lower bar icons, their extensions quickly flash then disappear so I cannot click on them to go to that open document.

I thought it might be memory but Win 7 no problems, and I have the latest display card driver.

I have two monitors.

Thanks

Thanks for the help.

Yes you know when one touches the large icons on the lower on the win 7 low screen bar it shows, above the icon, the pages which are open for that program. Click on one and it takes you to that page.

It is these pages which sometimes flash really quickly then disappear soone cannot go to that page, or any page.

It happens only now and then and I mainly see it as I use Firefox all day in my work although sometimes other programs are effected to.

It says my display drivers are up to date as is Win7 and says no memory problems.

In events I can't see anything which could relate to it either.

Thanks again,

oz

I am finding it hard to explain but will try again..

I have Win 7 Pro with 8GB RAM and 2 displays although icons and bar only on Primary display.

At the bottom of the screen there is a large bar and icons on the bar for program I use a lot.

If one has more than 1 page open for any program on that bar, a small image of the open pages will appear on the screen just above the bar.

To go to any of those pages move the cursor to the page, click and you are there at the page.

It has been fine for years, I have no new hardware, but suddenly in the last few months is doing this..

The primary icon ON the bar is fine however the open pages icons above the bar just show quickly then disappear.

It happens for most program although not all.

Especially Firefox and Word because I use them a lot and have many pages open at a time.

My gut tells me it is memory but Win7 memory troubleshooter is all okay..

I'd appreciate some ideas please.
