Hi geniuses
I'm about to buy a Samsung EVO 840 120GB SSD,
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-120GB-Basic-Solid-State/dp/B00E391KA8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1403090330&sr=8-2&keywords=samsung+840+EVO

I am confused as to what cables it needs/comes with. and whether I need to buy any extra cables?
mobo: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/FM2A55ME33.html#hero-overview

I do not have any spare cables and intend to keep using the HDD too, therefore please give me a list of cables/cases/those metal ssd holder things I NEED to buy. nothing fancy just to connect it at full speeds and hold it there !
Perhaps the SSD itself comes with all the necessary cables, I'm not sure someone help!

By the way I think my PC has a special smaller 2.5' case already, so talk to me about cables only!

you said my PSU will have a power cable for sata? isn't that already used by the HDD? i opened my pc and there are some sata-looking cables from the psu going directly into the 'sata' port on the MOBO are these spare? confused

the sata cables going to your motherboard are sata data cables which is what you need for your ssd to go to your motherboard they look like this

your power supply should have cables coming from it with one of these on it
the black ends you need this to power your ssd
