PC Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte (unsure which model will check if needed)
Processor: i5-3330
Ram: 8gb
Graphics card: Sapphire r9 270x 4GB

After installing the graphics card i have had 2 cases of completely random crashes, the screen cuts out due to no signal, and all fans seem to ramp up to 100% unsure what to do about this, I have the latest drivers, have checked the graphics card is not overheating (last crash at 30 c). So i am now really unsure what to do/check. This problem did not occur until the recent installation of the graphics card and did not occur during the first 3 days of use, but has now happened twice in two days. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Power Supply: OCZ OCZ-CXS500W-UK CoreXStream Series 500W Power Supply
MOBO: Gigabyte: ga-h61m-ds2 dvi
OS: windows 8.1 (unfortunately)

With my old graphics card i never had this problem, however I did occasionally get crashes with stripes of colour across the screen (hd7750).
Also the crashes seem very random i can go 5 hours of uptime with no crash, then once it was as quick as 2 mins.
The computer has now been on for 3hrs without any errors, this is what i find odd, in this time i have tested if it crashes under load which it does not, i ran several benchmarks for around 30mins and played 1 hr of games, this is why i am so confused.
