I've dealt with this for a year now, but I'm finally wondering what is causing this... Once I shutdown my computer I have to go through a specific pattern to turn it back on.
1. I press power button, within 3 seconds it shuts off.
2. I flip off the power supply switch for 3 seconds and flip it back on, then without pressing power button it comes on and shuts off within 3 seconds again
3. Repeat step 2 one more time
4.After the repeat of step 2 the computer then automatically turns on and off 3 more times within 3 seconds of each other, and then boots up normally.
During those 3 seconds of it being on each time, the monitor doesn't have a chance to come on so I can't really see whats going on. It's a very specific pattern though so I assume its something repeatedly failing to boot, then after so many failed attempts it just skips it. Any ideas?
