While playing games, my computer screen will turn a solid color and the sound will become distorted and start to loop. The mouse and keyboard are unresponsive at this point and will require me to manually turn the computer off and back on again. I just got my GTX 770 back from Asus, so I assume they either fixed it or the card wasn't the problem, but I'm still having the same problem as before. I have tried different slots on the mother board for the video card and have also tried different slots for my memory, which is 16 GB Kingston Hyper X Beast. I've also tried different monitors and different monitor cables.

Solution
If you have a sound card in the system try removing that and try and run your games. If its not an issue with a sound card then, use memtest to see if there is a problem with the ram. If there's no issue with that then go into bios and reset everything to its default state and check to see if that's the problem. If that's not the problem then its either a driver or hardware issue with the graphics card or there's something wrong with the PCI slots on your mobo.
