This all started last week when I moved into my new house. I got my computer and internet working perfectly. Then the next day I turn my computer on and after windows loads it is just a black screen with nothing showing. I did not notice any updates the night before that windows installed or anything like that. It starts up in safe mode, so I uninstalled drivers to see if the issue was related. And without any GPU drivers it starts up just fine, but with ANY version of GPU drivers I get the Black Screen. I called up mircrosoft to see what they had to say, "reinstall OS". I did, 10 times. Just to make sure. Also bought a new OS windows 7, because I was using a windows 7 upgrade disc. That didnt solve anything. Same Black Screen. I called Nvidia and they said to update mobo drivers / bios, so I did with no results. At this point I have no idea what to do. Did my GPU half way crap out? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And Thank you for the time spent reading this.

I found the problem. I didn't know, but the newer TVs have software that you need to update every so often. I went to the Samsung site, downloaded the update to a USB drive, and connected the USB drive to the TV. HDMI works just fine now. If anyone is having Black Screen problems and using a HDMI, I would recommend trying this first. Takes only a few minutes.
