Which is better, a 6gb 780 EVGA or a 3gb 780ti EVGA superclocked? I will be running 4k. Hopefully I will go sli eventually. I don't have to run those specific cards. I'm open to any options. £800 limit. Air cooling only.

The 780 Ti SC will be faster. If super high textures and high levels of AA is more important, the extra VRAM of the 780 will be better... if really needed. 3gb is still a lot of video RAM even at 4K.

TI has more CUDA cores, being superclocked comes with factory overclock that makes it A LOT better than the 6gbs 780. Seriously, you won't need 6 gbs vram unless you run many monitors or a 4k.

Get the ti.
The 780 has 6 gigs of vram but won't run it most none titan cards can't properly push such high amounts of vram they lack the cores for it so the extra ram won't make a darn anyways.
So the ti has more cores etc and will certainly out do the 780 under load.
Or get a titan if possible it is basically the best of these two cards smashed together for more performance.
