This is my newly build system. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/mahatasin/saved/7wYLrH

I am using the stock fan for cpu, no additional cooling. I have noticed both cpu and gpu temperature reaches around 86~88 C, but that's after playing playing Far Cry 3/Watchdogs for 1 hour or so. I have had random shuts down almost every day in the last 7/8 days of usage. Sometime during playing games, sometime 7/8 minutes after exiting the game. (also kind of random). It just shuts down, and remains so (doesn't restart).

Sometimes it also restarts automatically, right after shutting the computer down. This is also random. What should I do at this point? Is there a way to confirm what caused my last shut down?

Yes, the 212 evo is relatively cheap with a solid performance. Stock fans generally suck.

+1 you don't want the CPU to get over 75°C regardless if OC'd or not. 60°C is the top reasonable temps for a non OC CPU on heavy loads. So the CPU overheating IS the cause of your shutdowns.

I installed the Hyper 212 EVO, now the processors doesn't overheat. I have monitored the temp during games, and the max temp reaches at around 70~72C. Most of the time remains around 65C.

Still I am facing the shut down issue. I'm observing that, the computer shuts down 3~5 minutes after I quit the game (Farcry3, AC: BlackFlag or WatchDogs). What could make the pc unstable? What should I check?
